The Transmorpher converts your enemies into innocent and helpless penguins, some wearing a winter hat and scarf, and others looking all snazzy in a tux with a top hat. That keeps them distracted enough so you can discharge the weapon of your choice and turn them into a bunch of pieces of metal, nuts, and bolts. The first one puts up a disco ball and with the music, lights, and the entire ambiance your metallic enemies can't help but dance. But the most interesting weapons are the Groovitron and the Transmorpher. The Combuster is a regular fire gun, and then there are also Fusion Grenades.
Ratchet and clank future full version#
You only have access to four of them in this demo, but it's a good example of the kind of innovative weaponry you'll be able to use in the full version of the game. R&C have no choice but embark in yet another exhilarating adventure, with wrench in hand and a few new weapons available in their inventory. In the demo, Ratchet and Clank are thrust into a sticky situation when heavily-armed robotic commandos start an invasion of the galaxy. It looks like the end of this year is going to be very thrilling and positive for the gaming industry, as we could see at the last E3, just barely two weeks ago. When more games like this start coming out for the PlayStation 3, Sony will finally have reasons to feel proud of themselves, and they will definitely overcome the slump they're in right now.
Ratchet and clank future plus#
The demo doesn't have more than twenty to thirty minutes of gameplay, but it does a great job demonstrating that our awesome game heroes are back, stronger than ever, with the most awe-inspiring visuals, plus smooth and extremely fun platforming that is to die for.

Therefore, Tools of Destruction is only the first installment, which means we can get all excited because there will be more. This time they're jumping right into the next generation of gaming, starting what will be a brand new series of their own, Ratchet & Clank Future. JWhat an honor to get my hands on the fresh, brand-new R&C demo shown at E3 this year! Ratchet, our little friend with the rodent ears and tiger stripes, makes it back to our TV screens along with his dear friend and robotic companion Clank.
